Graduates of this program have a number of career opportunities both in the Govt. and the private sectors. Agriculture Departments of the State Govt. and banks recruit Agriculture Science graduates as Agriculture officers. In the private sector, these students are recruited by plantation firms, fertilizer manufacturing units, agriculture machinery industry, agricultural products marketing firms, food processing industry etc. Apart from these, one may also start own venture or take up research work in research institutions like ICAR, ICRI, etc. or take up teaching in private or government institutions.
