Bachelors' of Legislative Law, (LLB)

Legum Baccalaureus or LLB offers deep comprehension of all core aspects of law, and knowledge of different domains of legal profession such as Criminal Law, Civil Law, Corporate and Business Law, Law of Torts, Law of Contract, International Law, Cyber Law etc. This is a 3-year regular programme.

Basic eligibility criterion 50% marks in graduation, from a recognized institution.

BA LLB (H)

For those who want to become lawyers, there is an integrated course called BA LLB (H) offered by Mangalayatan University Jabalpur that combines a Bachelor of Arts with a Bachelor of Laws. This five-year program offers a broad curriculum encompassing core legal subjects like criminal law, corporate law, and constitutional law and humanities subjects like political science, sociology, and economics. The purpose of the course is to foster a solid foundation in legal principles as well as analytical and critical thinking abilities. Students are prepared to work in corporate legal departments, practice law, or pursue postgraduate study in specialized legal areas.

Basic Eligibility Criterion: 50% marks in 10+2, from a recognized board

Bachelors' of Commerce & Bachelor of Legislative Law, (B.Com LLB)

This is a professional law programme, spread out over 5-years, and integrates Bachelor of Commerce along with, Bachelor of Legislative Law. Some of the common subjects studied during the course are, Economics, Business Communication, Auditing, etc. Students are also introduced with law subjects like, Consumer Protection Law, Law of Crimes, Legal Language, Interpretation of Statues, etc.

Basic Eligibility Criterion: 50% marks in 10+2, from a recognized board

Master of Law (LLM)

This is a 2-year post-graduate degree in law, wherein students are equipped with in-depth knowledge of their chosen field of law, by performing intensive research in that subject. The LLM Programme requires the student to select a specific field of specialization, such as, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Tax Law etc. Overall, a degree in law will equip a student to face real-world issues more effectively.

Eligibility Criterion: Graduation in any stream, from a recognized university.
